Nokia n70 / vodaphone 3g settings problem

Hello I need help! I have just got the nokia n70 phone on vodaphone 3g network, my problem is in the settings it says connect to server every time you go on to the internet etc and under phone connection settings it shows conect via vodaphone gprs, but at the top left it has a 3g symbol with to arrows so does this mean it is configured correctly? i have phoned vodaphone and they sent me the connection details etc.

Why does it not say connect via 3g?? under access point.

I'm no pro with this kind of thing, but it sounds right to me. 3g is a faster type of GPRS or something like that. So basically, you'll be using GPRS.
