Pure gym eh? Welcome to the club :p

It is free with work, and it is quite close... It is also not actually bad at all, although:

1) I was the oldest guy in there apart from another guy being worked by an instructor...
2) I was definitely one of the smaller people in there. :D But that isn't unusual anymore!

Strange, I've always had a mixture of ages and people there, at both I've used.

Either way,good that it's free.

Wow... It has been a while!

I went on holiday, but made sure my chest pump was sufficient for the week beforehand, and have then done some more Zwifting and some moar bench, OHP and back.

BENCH was 72.5kg for 8+2+1, OHP was 40kg for 12+3+1...

Should probably do some legs at some point. ;)

Legs still tired from Thursday's exertions (rode 16 miles each way to work), so Zwift sucked.

Did some DBSS (10-11-[10+6]) with 5kg and then some RDLs at 60-90-90.

Yesterday was OHP (47.5kg for 8+2) and chins (9+2)...

Standing dumbell press (20kg *10)
Wide grip chins (BW*10)

Some Zwift just to make myself even more hurty, and then some DBSS (10-10-10+8 @ 7.5kg).

We shall see if gains arrive as ordered...

Cycling to and from work (31 miles round trip) means I am not Zwifting this evening... Towed some guy in a headwind and was completely bushed.

BACK SQUAT (6-6[9+3]) 60-70-70 Slow down with full twitch powaaaaaah! on the way back up. Felt VERY different and my legs went all shakey.
DEADLIFT (3-3-3) 130-150-130 Crikey that was heavy...

I did some bench earlier in the week (40-50-50) to ease my shoulder back into it, and nothing exploded...

Today, it was hang snatch (40kg) and back squats (60-75-85 [9+2]).

Legs were pretty shot from two commutes in three days (60 miles... which felt like a lot), and the first ride had a 10 mile stretch in 25 minutes (for me that is fast)... so no Zwift this week.

Bah... Forgot to log the squats from last week. I think it was 85kg*9...

Today was bench, with 75kg (9-2-1), and some rows at 75kg (9-3-1).

I also did an FTP ramp test last Friday, and topped out at 276W FTP... It would be nice to crack 300W by Christmas!

Such training! Much frequent!

Heading back into strength training whilst I am spending so much time on the bike...

HANG SNATCH (3-3-3) BAR-40-50
BACK SQUAT (5-3-3-6) 60-80-90-100 Should have gone for an extra rest-pause micro-set at 100kg, but my nervous system was shot and I was all shakey. :D
DBSS (10-10) BW-12 Yeah, my legs will be sore tomorrow...
BROCEPS (*)

Will be interesting to see how this mixes things up... If at all.
