As far as 1070Ti pricing goes, its not bad, cheaper than some 1070's in fact. :)

I really want that Zotac 1070Ti, but it's just not going to squeeze into the case I want (Phanteks - Enthoo Evolv Shift). And would probably get too hot anyway...

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Shift has 350mm clearance for graphic card so sure it can fit 325mm Zotac GTX 1070Ti AMP Extreme card in accorded to spec on Zotac website.

Not bad, but not great either when Vegas have deals going as well tbh; heck just selling the codes you get with those is gonna put a V64 under a 1070ti.

It's good to see OCUK challenging cheapest UK price but it's too expensive still imo. Ocuk sold the zotac omega gtx980ti for £350 just over 2 years ago & I bite then. Now 2 years later!!! you get a card with barely 10% better performance for £30+ It's just poor deals from Nvidia. Just don't buy.

Right now for anyone with an older card or who didn't buy a gtx1080ti 1.5 years ago the only logical, good value, realistic upgrade is a gtx1080ti at £450 Mark MAX! If u pay more than that u might as well have bought it 1.5 years ago. Prices are simply poor at present. I'm not blaming ocuk as now they are actually very competitive with the gtx1070ti, I blame Nvidia & the gullible.

Tho I do note that apart from the random deals OCUK has become very expensive & non competitive Ion recent months/year :(

It's more the size of the cooler, would have to keep the side of the case off or modify it.

Tweaktown tested Phanteks Evolv Shift fitted in Zotac GTX 970 AMP! Extreme with massive cooler size that need 3 slot still has side of the case on so you should have no issue with Zotac GTX 1070Ti AMP Extreme 2.5 slot card with side of case on.

Same.

£380 is the launch price :p

Exactly. This and the 1080ti sale thread are really stretching the definition of the word "deal" :p.

Gibbo should come back to us when he is doing 1080tis for ~£400 and 1070ti's for ~£200. Until then, pass.

If there is no fire sale for the old cards this time around, then this new release just got even more disappointing!

Agreed, I'll be keeping my 390x for years at this rate.

Shame if it was £100 cheaper I'd have bought right now. It's far from realistic pricing.

Or really I'll buy 2nd hand.

Considering a competitor had a 1080 for £300 just a couple of weeks ago!

Your prices are unlikely going to happen. If there are still huge stocks of some 10 series cards as some suggest then you might see some special deals a little later (black Friday?). I really doubt this will include the 1080 Ti tho, more likely the GPU's more popular for mining that probably have higher stock levels (ie 1070 Ti or lower).

Sorry but that's not really accurate. 980ti is generally now than 10% slower. 1070ti has to be overclocked otherwise they are set to Nvidia standard boost frequencies which are really low. Even before AIO at 100% fan it would go to 2126mhz and +550 on the ram. Now it just runs silent and cool at 40ish degrees and is quicker than pretty much any factory air cooled 1080.

As for the price, totally with you. Not worth it.

I'll be surprised if it can hold 2126Mhz - almost every Pascal core I've seen drops to ~202xMHz at some point in proper gaming at some point (even if it goes up again). With slight voltage adjustment mine hits 2100MHz pretty easily but won't stay there constantly. Though it isn't really very noticeable in terms of performance as it still pretty much puts out the same framerate give or take 1-2fps.

Not going to happen, which is why I'm not going to buy :p

Waiting on AMD and/or PS5.

There's nothing really compelling about PC gaming that justifies this price vs the alternatives.

I'm quite happy to drop out of the PC gamer demographic altogether, and hope that by doing so (along with others), somebody, somewhere will take notice. But I'm not kidding myself either. Enough people would buy at twice the price to make my stand most likely futile.

This might be my last gen in PC gaming. Prices are so retarded it's pushing me out. Looking at PS5/Xbox also
