    Ok..

    So I've got a 5700le

My other specs are a 3200+ athlon xp M

    256mb 3200 ram

The stock settings are 250 core and 400 memory

I can overclock the core all the way up to 450 and its stable

But the memory wont go past 489

Why do you think the memory wont go higer??

Also im on stock cooling... Is this dangerous?

You'd be better running 3dmark03 to get a better perspective on gains from overclocking as it's more gpu based, 3dmark01 is highly dependant on cpu and pretty much everything else.

Your memory speed is actually very good....

Although your Core is a little low... I had mine upto 515 :)

Check for artifacts, Ati tool does this. You need some nvidia equalivant.

Temp wise if it burn my finger right away then it is too hot, tsshh after I lick my finger and touch the heatsink and the machine power button is pressed
