They are. MSI have supplied Gibbo with hundreds of 3080s (both Ventus & Trio) for retail customers and supplied me with 50 Ventus cards. You'll see when the systems are finished how many we had.


If they have supplied hundreds of msi stock where is my msi ventus?????..been top 10 for a whole month..was around 150 in the que to begin with.

Some of us bit our tongues hard for the first 75 days before being 'vocal and toxic', I don't think you're addressing me there even though I was one of the few that remarked on the Ventus SI availability.
Try and see this from our perspective for a second, it's been like 5 or more weeks since Ventus shipped and no mention of them in the updates which we get when relevant but not on a schedule. As such no mention makes sense but it's still zero communication, a brief 'no MSI this week' is a million times better than radio silence.

We're (this thread) mostly the customers who never bailed out and gave up on OCUK.

unfortunately, I'm talking since launch.

There really is no big secretive plan here. It's just limited supply.

I've explained this before. Nvidia allocate GPUs to both the retail and the system integration sectors and tell their partners where to send the stock. This stock was allocated by the partners for our SI business and I purchased it, not Gibbo. Nvidia and it's partners have hundreds of large scale system integration customers, of which we are one. These customers employ many thousands of people just for the building of said systems. To ignore those customers because the retail sector is so vocal and toxic makes absolutely no business sense.

The fact that the stock that I receive is retail boxed is irrelevant. It's generally easier for the suppliers that way, so there are no "brown box" or OEM packaged cards available. It would be easier for us if there were. Nobody questions why PC Specialist, for example, are receiving stock for their SI business. Nobody is questioning why Scan are receiving stock for their SI business. So why should I be pulled over hot coals for keeping my SI business going?

The simple and overarching fact is that my SI allocation is a small percentage of the overall RTX 3000 series supply. I think the only card where I've received even close to the stock that Gibbo has recently is the GTX 1660 Super, so I'm not responsible for Nvidia's crappy supply and neither is Gibbo.
Careful, mentioning competitors is against the rules. :p

We haven't had any Ventus allocation for about three weeks, more than 50 Trios last arrived about a week ago. I know that an MSI delivery arrived at Manchester airport this week, we're just waiting for the distributors to receive the stock. Out of about 400 3000 series cards on that delivery allocated to us, about 30 are for my SI business and most of those are 3060.

There really is no big secretive plan here. It's just limited supply.

Why is this information not provided in the update thread? This is what most people are annoyed about.

If I'm reading this right, that means OCUK retail are expecting 370 MSI cards, soon, right?

I'm not talking about any person in particular, I'm not even talking generally about our forum members as a group. There's just a LOT of toxicity amongst the gaming community as a whole and it's directed in pretty much every direction. I definitely understand the frustration but there's little that we as a company can do at this time to speed up supply. Gibbo has spewed plenty of toxicity the way of Nvidia and their partners, almost daily since the launch in the ongoing battle to get a bigger share of the limited supply.

Thanks for the updates..although the hundreds your claiming doesnt add up with que positions.

Shouldnt of taken this many people ****** to get a simple update which you just provided.

it took whining about SI stock to get an OCUK rep in here to say more than Gibbo has in about two months.

I only ended up here before I was curious whether any of the forum members had spotted my new range (I use that word loosely, I could only get three models of card so it's not much of a range yet)

HI Scotti,

Thanks for taking your time to unswer our questions. As you most likely are aware now we (customers) do not receive much updates from @Gibbo, he's active on every other thread but this one. Whenever he decides to throw as a bone it is not accurate. he does not provide us numbers but ranges for deliveries such as small, very small or ok amount for which he provided definitions and these are not accurate as well. People are upset because he and OCUK don't care/forgot about 3080 customers and we are simply being ignored. We were promissed regular updates and communication, the only thing people here relay on is the "cancellation day" - Friday stock update email. We finding out how many people in front of us cancelled their orders.

It's a mess, no one want's to be OCUK customer because of the above behaviour.

We're lucky if we get one vague update a week about a single type of card.

We were under that impression also but he spends most of his time in car and gardening threads.

We get more updates about cars than we do cards that were ordered in September.

We only know cards have come in due to people here posting they got a dispatch email out of the blue.

Using those numbers plus the Queue cancellation email on fridays we work out how many cards came in, generally to find that the number is no where close to Gibbo's vague figure of incoming, if he bothered to provide one.

Hence all the pent up anger in this thread.

You wluld think that they would proratise orders from months ago just saying....
Our systems aren't very good, I've said that a number of times on here recently.

I've personally spent about 50 hours in the last few weeks working with developers to fine tune the requirements for a whole new suite of internal software systems which we are planning to roll out next year. I hope that it will improve every aspect of our operation and the customer experience.

What you have just told me has me never wanting to use oc again, we do not get near enough info form gibbo it's disgrace he just ignores everyone on here for months and gives a 2 word update on one or 2 cards once a week or so

Sure. If you call 1 update a week detailing 1 model of card information on a regular basis. There's a reason people are jumping at the opportunity to get some information from you right now.

Compared to competitor sites that are able consistently have updates for every card posted before mid-day, every day, on a dedicated page instead of a forum post, it's a joke.
