****.....I just bought an AMD R9 280x.........

Possible to ship it back and get a MSI Geforce GTX 770 Gaming Edition 4096MB and pay the extra? The game package that comes with it.......worth the change as the 280x doesn't have one though it is rumoured to in the future.

You can return the 280x for any reason within 14 days. If it hasn't shipped yet then ring them up and get it switched!

I ordered the gigabyte oc at 2.30(found it rude not to with games I want anyway) just came home to see that 10+ that we're showing at 2.30 are gone,I also wonder how many oc have sold?

Very tempted to buy, but don't think the nvidia will work with my monitor for 3D. Also would like to see what price the aftermarket cooler versions of the 290x are.

Which price drop?

NVIDIA price drops were done pre 10am this morning, have you checked the online store, 780's from £399 inc. vat

Oh sorry, the GTX780s seemed to be the same price, around the £450 mark.

Am I best buying a GTX680 as a second card or selling for a GTX780?

When are you going to sell the last of the GTX680s mega cheap?

Seriously look at our online store, they are £399 upto £500, price drop very clearly being actioned.

The last of the 680's wont be going mega cheap, got like minimal stocks left and they will sell, were not going to loose money on them when we can easily shift them.

Whilst the 780 is now a great price, i still think the 770 has not dropped enough to compete with the 280X, I would not choose Nvidia's best 2 GIG 770 over the 3GIG 280X Toxic tbh, and if your a BF4 player that put the hours in, well with mantle around the corner too, it has to be a no brainer ;)

Well 770's have seen a similar uplift in sales, so price drop must be good enough. Am sure in coming weeks deals might see price drop a further £10 on select products. :)
