Hopefully it will be better than The Outer Worlds. Being high fantasy might help it, given how long we'll have to wait for the next Elder Scrolls etc.

That's what I've read but, I haven't played a lot of PoE

I just looked at the trailer again on the official XBOX YouTube channel, and the description confirms it - Avowed is set in Eora (which is where POE, also by Obsidian, is set).

I had read it was set in Eora but, didn't know if I missed something from the trailer.

I believe the PoE world has a lot of lore so could be really good from RPG point of view.

I've heard good things. I haven't got the imagination or patience for an isometric RPG. Maybe I should play it on xCloud.

Read that as "Arrowed" multiple times. Which would have been a great name for a Skryim-type RPG

Then realised it was "Avowed". Which is a fairly boring name
