Think I'd be getting this one if I wanted Nvidia. Shame they don't support Freesync though looks like Polaris is needed.

You say that but it has been known if you are overclocking the 1080 you end up hitting thermal limits with the FE cooler.

The only time you need worry is if it has a warranty seal, if so check the warranty terms and conditions of that particular brand.

But you can't do that until you get the card, he want's to know before he buys.

They defo wont fit the FTW as it is custom PCB,not sure about the super clocked its hard to tell if its just a regular reference PCB underneath the cooling plate or not

Not sure then mate, I did try it on a EVGA card earlier and it said the 3rd of June.

You could get one of the cheapy blower cards from Inno/kfa/msi they will all be reference PCB's

I'm actually surprised in a good way, the non reference edition cards are coming online and Nvidia and it's partners have followed through and delivered 1080's that are $100 cheaper.
