Who is going to sort this then . I suppose the OP would be best :)

heh im actually having trouble finding a poker room that lets you set up private tourneys, and not just ring games under a tournamant tag  (why they've done that is beyond me  )

A multi-table freeroll tournament could be arranged on Betfair.

That is if you want to do it like that. You need to propose a date and time also.

Ok I count 54 people so far.

If everyone is okay with keeping the signups open until Friday 9pm GMT time then we will close and see the final numbers.

Obviously tournament play is going to most likely be limited to 10 people so again depending on amount of people will depend on how many tables we have.

If you still want to join add your name to the list then we can sort out tables and start randomly drawing who is playing against who.

Let the games begin :D

(sorry if i missed anyone, please just add yourself)

I'm very interested; count me in!

I will be away for a week from tomorrow however. So can you please keep the thread updated for dates and times, thanks :).

**Edit: My name appears, ever so slightly, incorrectly in the name list! :p

A Multi-table tournament really is the best approach. You each play at a table of ten and as people get knocked out you gradually get whittled down to the final table and the final ten, be warned MTT's can run for 3hrs or more usually.

Agreed, and if you say they can be done of betfair i think that'll be the best option (or possibly the only option :p )

I sent them an emailing stating we wish to play just for fun and asking them to host the event.

Having seen other such private tournaments on the site it is possible for them to do.
