Betfair uses good and very simple software , as said there are priveate tournaments hosted on there but I cant seem to see how to inititiate one

I've found out Ladbrokes offer the option of creating a Private MTT but the minimum buy-in is $1.

You will have to register a credit/debit card on nearly every Poker site, if not all, to confirm identity and age.

you dont need to put in any CC details, just go thru the sign-up thingy, when it gets to the page asking for payment options, you'll see it says you can enter them later.
(i know because i just registered myself)
1st one i've seen that accepts paypal too, give me a chance to use that odd £20 thats been in my paypal as long as i can remember
