I don't mind the new website but it looks and feels pretty dated. I would have expected something a bit more sleek and polished from a PC company.

I'm an impulse buyer when it comes to my PC gear, I used to spend a bored Sunday browsing through the OC website and buying stuff on a whim.

Browsing the site for anything now whether just randomly looking at anything or looking for something specific feels like a chore, The filtering is terrible, The items should be the main focus of what is on the screen but they are so squashed together and item panes are so small it feels like the main design idea was to have as much crap on screen as possible while actually displaying products seems to be the last thing in the design.

I am truly disappointed that OC have decided to stick with this horrible design, You have lost me as a customer, When trying to buy products feel like tiresome and like a chore you have done something terribly wrong.

 Using one's eyes, taking a bit of time and moving a mouse is such a chore?

If you can't understand why a company should make it easier for a customer to be able to peruse and buy products then you should never run a company.

The previous design of the site while basic was very easy on the eye, It didn't present to many buttons or things to click on, The categories were quite well laid out and filtering was acceptable (that part could have been better).

This design is cluttered with any given page having upwards of 50 clickable buttons that do not have an relevance to the category you are in, Far too much space taken up on the edges of the page with adverts.

This site is preferring someone's really bad idea of form over function and that is simply not acceptable from a consumer point of view.

I have many friends who routinely used OC who are saying the same thing as me that the site is so badly designed that it feels tedious to try and use it and is ultimately pushing their customers to the competitors.

Right on the frontpage under 'OcUK - The Specialist in Gaming PCs & Laptops, PC Hardware and PC Cases' there is this stray paragraph (highlighted in red) which looks like leftover from the rewording.

Also, "peace of mind" was mentioned three times, twice in the same sentence.

Makes me think I was on a competitors website.

Watering down OCUK identity.

And those advertising banners manage to be more irritating when everything in the middle of the screen is also in bright colours.

Went to browse for stuff and noticed the redesign. What happened.....

Who thought it was a good idea to have this color scheme and layout? A serious step backwards in usability, not to mention accessibility. If you're going to redesign something in 2015 it should be both.

Hope it gets better.

This is exactly what I thought, it's just like the competitors site, infact it's worse. Might get better over time?

Have to admit, I was not a fan of the website initially (new one) and it is not growing on me at all.. I really rated the old one and thought it was a really finely crafted beast, this new one just does not do it (for me).

I no longer look at it to be honest I now browse elsewhere and with Christmas coming up I will be buying from somewhere that's easier to find what I'm after.

The search doesn't work. Really not a fan of the site :(. Just placed an order for 2 lots of ram but I was trying to search for thermaltake last night and it returned everything but thermaltake so I gave up and bought that elsewhere.
