Yeah, Juventus are looking to cash in on Buffon as he's getting oldish now.

I don't think its a good idea though as Vidic is a quality defender and someone like Akinfeev or Lloris isn't far off Buffon, if at all, and far younger.

Bufoon is 32 now, that's no age for a 'keeper really and many don't peak till around then anyway:)

That is true, but when you have keepers that are 23/24 and as good as for example, Akinfeev, I think the potential he has would make him far better than Buffon in several years time.

That said, I wouldn't be unhappy if we ended up with Buffon instead :p

Think Buffon is more likely to be able to cope with the change in speed of the leagues in question, but at a cost of £40m Im not sure its worth it (with money that could easily go on another CB if Vida leaves and a younger gk like those mentioned)

just wish some wonderful Arab would come in with an £1.5bn offer for the club........yeah ok I know Im dreaming :D

If Real Madrid decide to be idiots as usual and buy another superstar striker I'll take Higuain in a moment.

their team doesnt have the right mix. or the right players arent being played together. if they do buy ribery, i expect to see them selling raul and guti, both of them are now old, and they have younger and better players available.

whats up with kaka? is he injured? and how long for?

Didn't Kaka or one of his advisors publically come out and criticise Pellegrini after the Lyon game ? He hasn't played since then.

"I look at players like [Didier] Drogba and [Frank] Lampard and they have been – and still are – the best players in their positions in the world. I could really learn from players like that.

"Chelsea are a great club. They have become one of the most feared in Europe over recent years. London would be a really amazing city to live in as well – myself and my wife could be really happy there.

"Carlos Tevez is doing really well at Manchester City but for me it is about joining a club who are ready to challenge for honours. City are not ready yet."

I thought there was some serious interest in Neuer from Man Utd in the last window?

Neuer > Akinfeev

I don't think Neuer is better than Akinfeev or Lloris, but im not an expert scout and I trust the ones at Utd will select the best option :p
