Old sky dishes

Is there any point these days ? I'm tempted to have mine removed from the rear ..are people still using these or is it done over the WAN/internet?

I'm not a sky TV user or in past. Is the dish legacy and no longer required? Benificial?

Especially useful if you get poor DTT (normal TV broadcast) reception. Though that's often fixed by sorting the antenna so... Six of one, really.

If it's not upsetting you, there's no harm leaving it up.

I'll leave it up. Was just doing some work near the area and was just a general question really.
