osCommerce question

not used osCommerce before and i need to change the way the products are sorted within one category, ive found one option but i cant find any info on the oscommerce site about it

any ideas on what different values for the bottom box will do ??

Im new to oscommerce too, currently building a shop with it, but the box at the bottom actually lists the order you wish them to be shown.
If you leave them at 0 i think they will be shown alphabetically but other than that you would change a specific number for each product in the order you wish.
I could be wrong but thats how i list my payment providers in the order i wish them to be shown to customers.
