I have managed to overclock my 3700+ to 2.81Ghz on its standard heatsink and fan. At full load my temps are only 51C and usually they are less than that! but if i oveclock any more than this my pc becomes unstable and cannot finish prime95. Is it possible to get more overclocking than this or is this my processor limit? my DDR volts is at 2.8, Vcore is at 1.5. Is it my RAM limiting me or can my processor just not do more? i have tried putting more voltage through the core but this failed.

probably need better cooling to go further

    and keeping it stable.

if you invest in better cooling you could get it further
