If you're really doing nothing more intensive than what you've stated there then you could cut back on the CPU and GPU to save a bit of cash.

This one would be fine:

and onboard graphics would probably also be okay.

You might want to look at getting a sound card though with the money you'll save depending on if you've got a decent pair of headphones/speakers to pair it with.

This is what you want for maximum *bang-for-buck* . . . this system can grow and last you along time . . . I think you need a new PSU if you want the option of adding a nice GPU down the line . . .

The AMD® Athlon™ II X3 is the best value-for-money and it offers more processing power than any of the DualCores . . . also that the ASUS M4A78LT-M is an awesome mobo stacked with technology, use its IGP to start and link it via HDMI to a nice 24" monitor!

Change anything you like *except* the motherboard & processor!
