@Gibbo Will the 2070s Jet Stream fit in an Corsair ICue 220T case? Having trouble finding the GPU's measurements.

GPU clearance in case is 300mm.

Review on OCUK says "Very beefy cooler almost triple slot card. So BEWARE of your mobo and case specs when buying".

MOBO is MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard.

@Gibbo, I have been looking at upgrading a R9 390 8GB to a 2060 Super.

just to make sure I have read this right, would the 2070 be a better choice to go to over the 2060S? (2070S is a bit out of my price range)

Palit Jetstream and Gamerock are three slot cooler cards, the coolers are huge, hence why they perform, cool and run so quiet. So you need a good size case.

2070 is quite a jump performance wise over a 2060 Super, another way to put it 2070 is around 1080 performance, whereas 2060 Super will be around 1070 performance and 2070 Super performs around 1080Ti.

So in order:

1060 = 1660
1070 = 2060
1070Ti = 2060/2060 Super
1080 = 2070
1080Ti = 2070 Super

Maybe that helps somewhat. :)

2080 and above are now all ahead of Pascal series.

I am currently looking at parts for a tower, and am of course scrolling through the web looking for advice on what to get.
I have read, just today actually, that 32" is too big for 1440 and that it is the equivelant dpi as a 24" at 1080.
He was saying that 27" is the ideal size for 1440.
As you guys have bought, or are intending to buy this monitor, what is your opinion?
I was going to get this one, as I dont think it will go any cheaper than this on black Friday and make a start on my new pc set up

Personally I find this balony its by the same people who say you cant watch 4k on a 55" screen at 3m away and see the difference between that and 1080p
Everybodys eyesight is different and everyones preference is different.

I had the ASUS ROG PG279Q 1440p monitor, very expensive monitor. I wanted more real estate and was recommended the 32" AOC by forum members. Its amazing for the price. As I sit about 1 metre from the screen its more immersive as the screen fills more of my peripheral vision and its still an IPS screen so I get the brilliant colour reproduction. As for the DPI it looks clearer to me that my Asus that I had dont think I could go back to a 27" screen now.

Put it this way if 32" is too big for 1440p then 34" Ultrawide is way too big for 1440p according to your source yet a lot of people on here love UW 1440p!! So who is wrong and who is right !

Bobbins. As you've just pointed out 24" 1080P is the same DPI as 32" 1440P, so if 32" is too big for 1440P then the most popular monitor size of 24" 1080P must be rubbish too...

32" 1440P is a great size/resolution IMHO, the image looks crisp and the size is much more immersive. Couldn't go back to a smaller screen now.

Right, thats it ordered, now to start getting a pc tower to attach to it.

The cards that you guys are talking about in this post are out of my budget, I can afford to buy them, but could not justify the price, if you know what I mean, so the search begins
