2070 Super is, IMO at the moment anyway, the best £/performance card available at the moment if you must have G-Sync. I run my 1440P ultrawide with one and it pushes it very well indeed.
Wow that's a fantastic deal, I remember getting my 2070S for £530 and thought that was a deal last summer (had to get the White one to match rest of PC ). Agreed - my 2070S runs 1440p very very well, was a worthwhile investment
1440P is no problem for a 2070 Super. They are actually 4k capable but can lack horsepower in some games at 4k but at 1440P they are more than enough and at £450 no matter what anyone says are a great price and in current climate and pricing structure of GPU's is the best performance value for money option right now. For me from NVIDIA there is three GPU's right now, 1660 Super at just over £200 for epic 1080P gaming and acceptable at 1440P, 2070 Super for 1440P and 2080Ti for 4k. That is your good better best in the NVIDIA range, the rest just sit in between to give more options.
Another vote for the 2070S here Mines a great card, plays everything on max settings with ease at 1440p. £450 is a great price.
2080Ti is very overrated as a 4K card, in many games it's not hard to bring it to its knees at 4K. ...What it really is, is the ultimate 120fps+ 1440p card.
My 1080ti for £670 from March 2017 will continue to spin on, albeit it wont spin as it has no shroud or fans.
Enjoying my 2070S here and feeling especially glad I listened to gibbo's advice in this post given what prices have done since.
This is the price they should have been at release...then I'd have bought one. Can't see anyone other than the uninformed/desperate buying one at the moment.
Oh bugger I just yesterday got a 270 super windforce for £529 as I gave my daughter my 1080, myself and Mrs Grant are not happy bunnies.

It was £529 until today when they reduced back to what is was before they increased it to £529, in other words yet another fake price reduction highlighted in red. I have no idea why they do this, fast becoming the DFS of the PC parts world.
