Partions

I have 50 gigs of free space on one of m hard disks, how do i use disk management to make it into a seperate partion? Ive fiddled around with it for some time but cannot work it out, any help would be appreciated.

Presuming its already allocated

Using windows you can only make a new partition by deleting the current partition and then making two small ones but you would loose ALL data that was on the drive

If its not already allocated

Then right click on the unused part and click format/make partition/something like that..

Get Partition Magic and it will resize your current Partition and use that space to make a new one
