Any advice would be nice, thank you and have i nice day
You're very polite for JustAnIdiot :)

If you're not averse to buying second hand I would wait a month and browse the glut of cards that should hit the market due to the 3070/3080 release. You should be able to pick up a well priced 2070 Super.

I would then consider upgrading your CPU in the new year with a second hand 3600 that should start appearing in quantity by then (motherboard?).

Second hand is your best bet.
  • Ryzen 3600.
  • 16GB of RAM in dual channel, it looks like you might have mismatched sticks.
  • RX580 8GB or similar.
  • An SSD with what is left over assuming you don't have one.
Should all be doable for £300.

What power supply do you have by the way? It might impact your options.

Ah. Ninja edit on my end.

I've just been to a family birthday dinner that involved way too much wine, was worried I wasn't making much sense. lol
