Hi All,

I've got a PC that has been working fine - temps all within acceptable ranges etc for the past 6 months - specs are as following:

8600k
Strix z370-i
16gb Vengeance DDR4
1060 wb
EVGA Gold 650w Power Supply
NZXT AOI
M.2 SSD Evo 960

Until today, I've tried to boot the system as per usual and the fans come on for around 0.5 seconds and then the system shuts down, there is an amber light on the motherboard.

Steps tried so far:

Unplugged GPU
Removed Secondary hard Drive
Re-Seated Ram

Is there anything else you can advise me to start before looking into RMA?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Ok so, upon further investigation, it appears that the PSU is to blame as when using an old power supply, the system works as normal. It was purchased new from OCUK 6 months ago and hasn't had any issues until today. I'm a little wary to get another PSU of this type, is there a known quality issue with the EVGA power supplies?

Thanks

Xtz
