PC wont boot.

After a recent update to oculus software, on switching my pc on it failed to boot windows properly the recovery menu came up and I was able to do a system restore. All good I thought.

The issue seemed to happen again following the update again so I though software issue.

Then after a couple more restarts pc wont boot at all. Just got stuck on bios front screen.

Now pc just restarts continuously but occasionally 1/100 boots fine and then stable

So I started testing. Removed ram and swapped some around. No change.

Removed gfx card. No change.

Removed other pci cards. No change.

Unplugged psu and tested voltages. All seemed fine.

Replaced cmos battery. No change.

Disconnected hard drives. No change

What are the next steps?

My crystall ball has same problem of not booting, so what parts that coffee machine has eaten?

Rollback / uninstall then reinstall an older version of the Oculus software?
Check the Windows Event Log, see what errors are being logged.

You must be getting hyped for the release of Half-Life: Alyx

Given it's now restarting continuously with the hard drives detached I'm assuming that it is a hardware issue.
