hi guys , i have been thinking in creating a RAID0 in my old pc (p3 @933) and i was looking for a pci card in which i will connect 2 80gb WD JD brand new caviars.

What i dont know and cant find it in the web is how these PCI cards can fucntion as bootable arrays. I want to fresh install windows in the array but apparently the motherboard bios do not have any option for RAID , the question is : How do these pci cards are recognised on bios and can i make a bootable array with a PCI card?

    thanx

The SCSI cards have a BIOS.

Usually, just after your the motherboard POSTs, the SCSI card will say something like "press F1 to enter Adaptec Setup", and Bob's your Auntie.
