performance in guildwars

    Gamming perfor,ance @ 1680x1050

    1600x1050 in guildwars on 6800Gt will it be ok ?

    Battlefield 2?

    Should be fine for GW I think, the reqs aren't that high.

    It would be fine in GW and probably CSS, it would struggle in BF2 though.

    Definately not in BF2. 1280 max, or 1024 with 4xAA if you want zero slowdown. GW would be cool tho, ran very well at max details, 1280 on my old 9800Pro.

    well I got the screen ( very good), so an update for those that wonder.

    all res @ 1680x1050

    BF2 settings all high 2*aa 40fps
    Farcry settings Ultra high 2*xx 40-50fps
    DOD-s settings all on 2*aa 40fps
    Guildwars all set to high 50fps


    I have swicthed v-sync off Otherwise i get a constant 30fps, probably switch on when i play but 30 is a little low for comfort. I may jig quailty settings a bit to get up to 60fps in all games. Shouldn't be hard to make 20fps tbh.

    yep but may be worth considering a GFX upgrade, that's an old card.

    i think people are accidentally clicking the sort by ascending/descending start date bar, i do it too, it's quite annoying lol
