Peritonitis in felines

    Has anyone's cat had the above virus. One of our cats who recently had an operation was house bound but got out of the house only returning yesterday after 14 days in a very poor state. Took him to the vets immediately and he has suspected Peritonitis.

    From what we have read it's fatal which as you can imagine is very traumatic for my g/f and me.

    Hopefully he will pull through and the tests come back negative :)
