It's 'screen scale' in the pubg settings. Also did you try changing the 'screen mode' - full screen/bordered etc.

Oh right. I'll try that tonight. Yesterday I uninstalled and redownloaded, had a crash about 40 mins in.

Yes, I've tried both, same deal.

I'm also going to downclock my rx480 because this seems to do the trick for some people (although I resent having to downclock it when my temps are fine).

This game has been utterly ruined by cheaters. I think every single game I play now in Duo or Squad I encounter them. It's a joke. Solo isn't so bad, but still occurs.

Very suspicious that there are so many Chinese on EU servers. Seriously, what the hell are they doing there?

I encourage everyone to sign this...

Completely pointless. Tencent signed a publishing deal with Bluehole in November, but are only allowed to publish the game in China if it meets with 'socialist values' which means no death and blood etc. So they will have to block off their China servers in order to comply. China are already leaving the game, petitions wont make it happen any faster.

As to whether it will solve the hacker problem? Not even slightly, the client is vulnerable, there's money to be made and plenty of people willing to buy. I suppose we'll be blaming the Russians next.

well if they ping lock the servers its not pointless it will mean 90 percent of cheaters instantly gone.the thing is people will spin racist all kinds of crap to try and keep it from happening.yesterday big thread on pubg main forums i also made one earlier in week. was the hottest topic on the forums.mods shut it down.i got a warning.thing is its the cheapest way with smallest effort to deal with cheating.just lock na , eu servers to 150 ping.will stop asia playing and we will have a managable amount of cheaters to deal with. just for adding ping lock.

the funny thing is bluehole themselves stated somewhere on steam status report that 95 percent of banned players were chinese so its not going against or being racist its just the truth.the sad thing is there will obviously be legit players from asia who would get trapped to asia only but...for the greater good millions on EU , NA would be able to play without the cheaters.

also ingame there is already servers for each region just the people from those regions are not playing on them. so its already mostly set up just lock the ping watch the cheaters fall. hope it happpens but doubt it will.

Been stalking the steam discussions about "region locking" China, ping lock would be the most efficient way of solving the problem.

There's 2 issues that need to be addressed, being killed because of the ping difference (I have a few ridiculous deaths recorded) and hackers. Ping locking the servers won't stop all hackers, but most are Chinese as they're reaping in crates to make money + it will stop the unfair advantage of being able to kill me through the floor because of their lag.

region lock will lower the amount of cheats sure, maybe improve the overall "feel" of the game, but now that everyone has seen how easy it is to hack in this game, how they do nothing about it and lastly, how you can just sell crates to make your money back quickly if you do ever get banned - there is no deterrent.

Had a few enjoyable games recently but early game is still a mess, taking several goes to pickup a weapon but after the initial rush the hit reg was the best it has ever been for me, actually managed a few hours without any WTF moments.

Yes, almost certainly pointless, but it does point to the scale of the problem that this petition even exists in the first place.

It's frustrating to see the creator Brendan Greene saying it's only a few bad eggs, which is an absurd thing to say when they've banned over 1.5 million players already LOL! He's utterly clueless, but that isn't surprising when he's openly admitted to not being a gamer, so he really has no idea or ability to even empathise with those of us whose experience is being ruined. Besides, he's made his fortune already so what does it matter to him? He's getting richer by the day.

Exactly. I fear the only thing that is going to improve the situation is a halfway decent competitor that interrupts their revenue stream, and I dont think Fortnite is it. They could solve a whole bunch of problems by allowing private servers, but that hasnt been on the cards since the money tree fell on them.

Bear in mind this is the same guy who got butthurt over a streamer jokingly saying he would kick him in the chest for banning him, literally had a breakdown on social media about it. The guys a ****, don't expect any intelligent or meaningful decisions regarding the games future to of come from him.

Have they said they won't allow private servers? Hopefully that is on the cards at some point in the future... although perhaps only when all interest in the game has dried up.

I think the problem has been the lack of any decent fps's in last several years. PUBG has rebooted it I think its the only fps ive logged most hours on since cod4 which was 2007. The only other competitor has been CSGO and the people that drifted off to mmo's.

Something else will come along and EA and Activision will already be planning to jump on the bandwagon and going by the revenue PUBG is making I wouldn't be surprised to see a takeover bid going in. It's the kind of game Activision have been lusting for a mass fps where they can pull all the strings.

can somebody explain to me how the dam steam market place works.

I now have 4x Desperado crates that I don't want to pay sodding money to open, DLC and microtransactions can jog on as far as i'm concerned. So I figured I would sell them on the steam marketplace and get some money to buy some regular crates, because you know the choice of which crate you get with your BP would be far to sensible.

Anyway I keep trying to list the crates on the steam community market, only to get a message telling me I need to do some extra security steps, anyway I get an email asking me to create listing, which I click on and log into my steam account in my browser, but nothing else happens, the item is still "on hold".

Honestly I'm pretty ****** off that you don't get a choice in which crate you get, I'm not a great player and havent really got many points to spend on cosmetic rewards, only to have every single box be one I have to pay to open...

You need the steam app and 2FA on you phone AFAIK, when you go to sell on the marketplace it then pops up on your phone to confirm it.

Again AFAIK it takes 7 days to authorise that too, after then you can just flog whatever you want rather than paying to open crates. Better to get the £2 into your steam account than having useless cosmetic items tbh
