Been driving since 1995, riding since 2003.

1995 - 3 points (radar gun)
1997 - 4 points (scamera)
Clean licence from 2001 until...
2006 - 3 points (radar gun)

So in 11 years, I have been issued with 10 points.

To say I am a member of the IAM, the above record isn't too impressive. I am actually not as bad as the history might suggest. But I do consistantly speed, although not to excess, and only when I feel comfortable to do so depending on road conditions etc. I'm not one of these people who scream injustice when caught, as I made the conscious decision to drive/ride fast.

so either all the above are sunday drivers that cover MINIMAL mileage per year or the unthinkable is actually the case.
that i may just be a tad correct and that it's NOT so easy to be caught speeding if you're actually paying attention and are trying to drive under/at the posted limit.

I'm by far a sunday driver, and I often exceed the speed limit - but I do so as a calculated risk and in what I believe to be sensible and suitable areas, times etc... I think I concur to your second point. :)

I do upwards of 25,000 miles a year, and I break the speed limit where I feel it is safe to do so. It is relatively simple to not get caught by marked cops and static camera's yes. However even I know that there have been times I have been lucky.
