Looking into replacing my now ageing gaming laptop as its no longer running the games I play on steam.
Only three scenarios I have ever found myself using my laptop.
Friend's house. Internet over BT FON wifi. Using his flat screen tv. Hdmi input.
Parents house. Using a desk next to my father's on the LAN. Keyboard mouse and monitor in situ. Dvi input.
Organised LAN event. Too lazy to take my desktop. I can take my monitor or hire a monitor onsite.
I no longer use virtual machines on my desktop machine. So will donate 2x8gb ddr3 sticks. Mouse and keyboard sorted. No need for a monitor. I never use my laptop at home and its had minimal use.
I am after a small and light system to go on a desk that is fairly future proof and quick!
what parts would you look at?
