The surface of the CD-RW disc is flawless, but for some reason it is prone to file errors. Even when I delete the entire contents of the CD, then burn new files onto it (from an image file), errors appear all over. Do I need to repair the 'File System' on the CD, as simply deleting the contents isn't enough? If yes, what's the most positive reviewed software to do such a thing? I'm not sure how CDs work but maybe it just needs to be 'reformated' somehow, to cure persistant errors?

Sounds like it must be a physical problem then, and not something done on a software level. Thanks anyway.
