Just changed my k8n neo2 plat and x800xt-pe to a dfi ultra-d and x1900xt. I have been reading a few things suggesting quite a power requirement for this card and was wondering if my psu is up to it anymore.

    Enermax 460w with 28a on 12v.

psu is only 20 pin plugged directly into the 24 pin slot and also plugged into molex and floppy connection on the board as well as the 4 pin 12v

Cpu is 3500 winchester which was running at 260x10 with 1 gig geil ultra plat pc4200 with the old card at 550/590.

Also in the are arctic freezer cpu cooler, 4x80mm fans on rheobus, 1 80 gig sata, 1 dvd/cd-rw and audigy 2 zs.

aim is to get the same clock on the chip and something on the card. will be getting 2 gig ram soon and possibly may upgrade to an opteron at some point

    Sounds reasonable on the surface.

Add it all up or do a google for a PSU calculator (might be one in the sticky).
