    Good prices on the DVDRW - love Pioneer kit. Shame there's no slot loaders in amongst that stuff!

    The Pioneer *18 DVD drives aren't true Pioneers now, I believe they're using tech from LiteOn etc (MediaTek chipset).

    As for the BD drives, Pioneer have announced/released the 12x models (BDR-205) about a month ago so I'm not even sure why they're bothering with these new (but old) 8x models. Still, if they're the last drives we're likely to see from Pioneer then I guess they're better than nothing.
