Any (good) reason why this one is £60 more than the LG BH08LS20? (Not meant to sound snotty; I'm just asking if there's something about it that makes it worth more. )
The Pioneer *18 DVD drives aren't true Pioneers now, I believe they're using tech from LiteOn etc (MediaTek chipset). As for the BD drives, Pioneer have announced/released the 12x models (BDR-205) about a month ago so I'm not even sure why they're bothering with these new (but old) 8x models. Still, if they're the last drives we're likely to see from Pioneer then I guess they're better than nothing.
