I’ve been searching. It's apparently one of these.

Intel PRO100+ Server Adapter EJMNPDALBANY PCI
Intel=AE PRO/100+ Management adapter 721383-xxx
PILA8460B 82559, Full Duplex, 2LED's

I can vouch for the twin LED’s. Pretty bling for 1999.

Links I’ve found for the relevant driver are dead. If anyone can find it to download, it will be much appreciated.

That seems to be the main driver available for the card from what I found last night. Some variations but no driver for NT4 or the links are dead.

Failing that, you would be better off buying a new one for a few quid. Even if the driver works, it may cause a few problems in the long run but hey, maybe you'll get lucky.

Installed that driver, and not getting ‘Atleast one driver didn’t...’ on boot-up, so that’s good. Now showing [5] Intel[R] Pro/100+ Management Adapter [Bus 0 Slot 11] in Network Adapters. Under Protocols > Properties > Specify an IP address, I’ve got 192.168.0.10 and under Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0.

I reset the DG834G. Go to browser, type in http://192.168.0.1 but still not working. I’ve no time tonight to play with this further, but if anyone has any more advice...

I’m now back under the parameters of ‘basic install problems’, so I guess I'm entitled to phone NetGear again, if need be.
