I have Zoom installed on an HP laptop and it works well. I want to project it my TV and have been able to do it via Display Port - HDMI cable and again it works well, but. I cannot extend the audio. When I use the laptop to TV for say YouTube or Kodi, it mutes the laptop and extends the audio to the TV OK. But using Zoom it neither mutes the laptop nor extends the audio either. It's no big deal but the extra volume would come in handy. Any ideas please.
You possibly need to set the default audio device to be the TV's speakers. Not sure as I don't use your hardware/software setup. Left click the speaker icon and the arrow down icon select your TV from playback devices.
I have found the option for TV although it was obviously there last night. I was confused as both the laptop speakers and the TV option both had (NVIDEA HD Audio) next to it and I mistakenly thought it was a duplicate. Thanks for your patience.
