Been after the 750W EVGA G2 or the Superflower 750W for ages to come on offer with stock but never had any luck, as soon as the offer finishes 10+ stock shows.

I have a Corsair HX850, not a "i" digital model and not fully modular from circa 2008.

At the time it was one of the PSU's to have, how is old age treating it?

Funnily... that CiT 500w PSU linked, the joke one on the shop, I took apart an identical unit not labeled by them clearly from the same manufacturer. The Passive PFC unit wasn't real. It was literally a loop in and out and the "coils" were slivers of Iron taped together to give the illusion of a real PFC block.

The way to tell is a corsair psu was the old seasonic made units the part code on the box is cmpsu-ax750uk if it is the new part code format cp-9020000-gb then they are made by their newer oem partner (mostly cwt)

Good to know as I'd not want a CWT unit to be honest personally.
