Quick question about no claims bonus.

My car insurance runs out next week, and I won't be needing my car now until April.

If I do not renew my insurance and leave it uninsured on a private driveway, will I lose my no claims bonus?

No. You can leave it 2 years. You will need to SORN it though.

Make sure you have documentary evidence of your no claims bonus from your most recent insurer. This is usually noted on the renewals paperwork that should have come through.
