Racing Overalls / Suits

Hi all,

Wasn't quite sure where to put this thread, but I think its ok here!

I need a Racing Overall for a themed night, so it’s not actually going to be put to use! Ideally, it needs to be a rally style suit; I originally wanted a Subaru one, but I'm pretty sure this will be an impossibility! The only ones I've found are for 8 year olds and I dont think I'll fit in being 6 foot 1 .

Anyway, does anyone know where I could hire one from? Although it should be a rally one, I don’t think anyone is going to even notice if it isn't, so anything else is worth a shot! I'm getting worried as I need it for the 1st of Feb!

I've got a rally suit, but it's not going to fit someone 6' 1"

They cost a lot so I'd have thought hiring one would be difficult,
how about a flying jacket plus googles, and pretend it's for old school rallying ?


best bet would maybe be a karting school.

What about some large cotton garage overalls with badges sewn on

Or white cotton overalls with printed t-shirt transfers ironed on?

How about mechanics suits? Sparco do some that look quite like proper nomex suits and they start at £35

Quite like the Sparco overall but the suits on ebay look pretty good. Some nice Audi and VW ones too.
