Im having problems with my network at home. I have 2 hard wired desktops, a laptop and a small media center pc on the big tv. The idea of the media center was to stream movies off my larger system upstairs (which does the downloading and has the big drives). I tried to stream an 800Mb xvid but kept getting jerks and after a while it froze n then started, but out of sync 
I thought ooooookkkkkk just transfer the file over and it will be dandy BUT it was going to take 26 minutes to transfer the file! i downloaded it from the net in 5 mins flat LOL.
Everything is connected at 100Mb so i have no idea why its slow as hell ...
