Why would they rebrand it so aggressively? Paid by Intel and Nvidia for marketing and advertising purposes or what?

Why doesn't AMD say or do anything?

i don't think realtek is partial to amd or intel or nvidia. they have the monopoly of mobo audio codecs so can do whatever they want, really...

You probably have noticed that AMD doesn't support ALC4080, it's exclusive for Intel boards only, and also, quite much resembles the upcoming GeForce RTX 4080.

Not true, the new AMD X570S boards have it on quite a few models, especially most of the MSI ones come with ALC4080 onboard sound ,have a look at their website. Intel were just the first to have it on their boards but not the last.
