I am getting the intel i7 10700k and so I need to replace my MB. Can anyone recommend a good sub £80 motherboard, I've seen these but don't know if any are any good/should be avoided, I know nothing! ! am a novice pc builder

are any of these decent or are there far better boards around this price point that I'm missing?
thanks

I wouldn't pair an 80 quid motherboard with a 10700k as it will overheat and throttle performance.

These are the 2 cheapest boards that I would recomend with the above 10700k, if you don't plan on overclocking then get the 10700 non K and if you need to save some cash for the better motherboard then get the 10600K

Thanks for the response, I'm now switching from the 10700k to the 10700 after further research.

Why did you pick those motherboards, what is it that makes them good?

And whats the difference between the Z490-P and just the Z490?

MSI Gaming Plus uses 1 high and 1 low mosfet is parallel design (doublers are short in supply. technically manage the power better but at higher temps)
ASUS P uses integrated Mosfet so one single chip vs 2-4 and better for delivery in Teamed Design
Aorus Elite is integrated Mosfet as Asus but direct design , so a cleaner delivery but can be at hotter temps

P handles 450amps
Gaming handles under 500amps
Elite handles 600amps
