Hi guys.

Recommend me a build please - not for me, but it needs to run WoW, thats about it. Also, cheap is good.

No peripherals required, but OS is. add the cost of W7HPx64 to anything you spec please.

I'm a gaming geek, but i don't play WoW, and thus don't know what it requires. I can see the minimum spec, but we all know it needs more than that.

Cheers all, hope to hear from you soon.

Could you be a bit more specific on 'cheap' as to some that would be 350, others 500... Also what size/resolution monitor is it going to run on?

edit: 1st bash at a spec, I've gone for the GTS 250 as I seem to remember others saying WoW runs better on NVidia cards, you could save a bit of money by picking up a 2nd hand 9800 GT or something similar.

Thanks for that. Probably similar to what I'd have gone for.... same cpu thats in my main PC.

Good choice on the PSU and graphics, overall a pretty decent sounding build. I'd be tempted to balance it a bit more by going for a dual core cpu, and a full set of dual channel RAM though. Other than that, very similar to what i'd have guessed at myself!
