Sorry to keep bugging guys, looking to get a psu from oc to cover the following; * Phenom II 965 * Gibabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H * RAM - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-086-OC&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=813 * NVidia 8699GTOC 1GB << Might get a 9800 These are the main features, others are just hdd and rest is onboard. Thanks guys.
It's not really wattage, it's quality. As well as amps, rails and noise but the bottom line is this: Budget? Also, the 9800 isn't really that good of a card... how much are you looking to spend there?
550W will adequately cover any single gfx card set up, 650/750 for dual card set ups, but as above quality is just as important
well £50-80 region, tbh i only play cs:s so i don't need an expensive card yet. any suggestions lads?
Corsair 450W would probably cover you, unless you wanted the option of a much more powerful GPU in future in which case go for the 550W

Look at the Be quiet range. They do a standard 650w , Quad rail quality PSU for around £68 i think. Sorry cant link as OCUK down my end. McT
cheers guys, dont really understand wattage and types of psus but i guess its mainly to cover the hardware in the pc so i'll take your ideas onboard.
