Hi, So I'm currently doing my patio, at the end of the patio is an ACO drain that I put in a couple of months ago. It's concreted in with about 40 mm exposed to allow for patio slab and bedding mortar, I think it has a height of 80mm so 40mm is in concrete. I'm not 100% sure and I really hope I don't have to remove and reset it but if I did do you think I could break it out without damaging it.

Cheers

You could try painting on a load of brick acid on to the mortar. It’s a slightly left field approach but may weaken the mortar bond on the plastic enough that it will come away more easily.
