Removing boot choices Home or Prof?

    On An HP puter I find that on booting a choice appears to boot either XP Prof. or XP Home (home does not exist anymore - in fact I thought that I had gotton rid when I formatted the HD etc
    How do I get rid of the opion to boot XP Home?

    open notepad, open %systemdrive%\boot.ini and take out the xphome line

    There's an easier way... Start > Run > type "msconfig" > BOOT.INI tab > Check All Boot Paths. :)
