RIP Bella.

I was only talking to my father this afternoon and we touched on getting older, he said that he wished he had more time (he's 68) he broke my heart with those words.

At 46 I'm starting to think about my own mortality.

I saw this yesterday morning and ended up watching Russ Abbott Christmas videos on youtube for several hours. They were very funny together. I remember thinking their kind of comedy is non existent now.

I remember an interview with her. She said that one day her father sat her down and told her that she wasn't beautiful and was never going to be, so she needed to learn to be funny. So she did.

RIP Bella

I used to really like the Russ Abbot Show during the 80's, and remember her well. I've just watched the xmas special on youtube. Very dated, but some of it is still funny. On a side note, I had no idea the show ran right through to 96. I thought it ended in the late 80's / early 90's. RIP.
