Very sad news. I also remember him in Frasier as Frasiers mentor, were he ends up borrowing Roz's night gown - which gives Frasier nightmares.

One by one the actors I watched as a kid on TV and film reach the end of their life. I actually find it quite depressing watching older films now (even those from the 80s) thinking how many of the actors aren't alive anymore. He was a great actor who played one of my favourite Star Trek characters.

RIP, a superb actor and by all accounts a very kind hearted man.

Just found out today that the actor who played Nog, Aron Eisenberg, passed away in September too. With that, Marina Sirtis's husband passing away last night, Robert Walker Jr who played Charlie X in the original and D.C Fontana last week it's not been a great few months for the extended Trek family.

My favourite actor in DS9 he was brilliant and the only other actor I really like was Dax but that was more having the hots for her.

RIP Odo, you can now be a peace in the great link.
