Ruby programming help

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me.

I am trying to write a ruby program that takes a text file with a list of words in it and turn it into a text file with all the words on the same line seperated with a comma.

I havent a clue where to start, could anyone point me to some code examples that I could study.
