I must remember to let you know how my 2080ti and 4770k get on. I need to install it and been busy elsewhere but i am also in the 1080p high refresh camp. I only tested classic on this setup and i had like 160fps to 240fps the performance was really gold but retail will be a whole new ballgame. It felt very good at that refresh rate though it made me want to play the game more but i had enough of botters and called it quits.

It was an economy owned by expoliters and bots up until the flask change. I reported them non stop i saw the same guy bot and farm strat 24hrs a day and reported him ten times easily. I even got him once stuck on a log outside autorunning and reported it. Blizzard did nothing from day 1 to the flask change was like four to five months where these people farmed immense amounts of gold.

After i quit the big ban wave came i regretted wasting those four months where i legit farmed 2000-3000g and these thieves basically made that pointless. I hope Shadowlands is fixed i always said multiboxers needed banned. But this is Blizzard after all they really are talented at ruining thier own games.

I’d say WoW is among, if not the most unethical game ever made.

It’s like taking a set of virtual dice and rolling them every step of the way. The mechanics are that of a casino with skins added to allow kiddies to play and get hooked under the guise of it being a fantasy MMO.

Offices full of Chinese kids farming gold to resell online.

Everything about the game encourages addiction, repetition and disappointment. It’s those 3 things that make it so exciting when a bit of loot drops and you win it. It’s those moments that keep people coming back for more.

To be honest yes, But i suspect the main culpret is Chinese players and VPN. China has a cheat culture and everywhere they go they destroy games. They destroyed the wow economy and took all that money from players hands and took it to China.

Look at PUBG, Who ruined PUBG? The Chinese. If you want a healthy game its very simple, Ban Chinese players and Ban VPN and multiboxes.

The wow economy benefits only Blizzard, the most simple solution would be to give everyone a coin pouch, limit all players to 2000g max and provide better and more predictable content. Then it wouldn’t be toxic like it is.

Just came across this video. Not sure if this helps you. But looks like shadowland gaming at 120fps is possible probably need pretty beefy GPU and CPU

https://youtu.be/UkCZpUxBg_0

clarification - the guy appears to be stating he s hitting CPU bound with all the high end cards ie 6800XT, 3090 @ 1440p. His ram also run ridiculously fast. 3800 C14. That is probably as much FPS as you can get out of wow.

max setting wow on 144Hz 1440p VRR monitor while flying or going places would be quite a pleasant experience I would imagine. One day flight sim will give out 120FPS :D
