SAAB 9000 issue can you diagnose?

Its a 2.0turbo (1997) model Saab 9000,

Basically when you try to boot it a bit around 3.5000rpm the power completely cuts but then when u eas off the accelorator you get it back again,
Its fine up until that point, although it is known to be intermittent but more often than not it is an issue.

Any idea's?

Does it use the DI cassette?

If so when was that last changed?

The problem may be you're in Jet engine territory there.

would get the ecu read to check for fault codes.sounds like a problem i had although mine was at higher revs and was a boost/fuel cut.
