Bought a new Sony DRU-190S SATA DVD Writer but its giving me some strange DVD playback problems. If I pause a DVD movie for a couple of minutes, it won't resume playback and I get some odd noises from the drive and appears to lock up. The only way to get it working again seems to be to take the DVD disc out and put it back in again.
Thought it might have been a software issue but I get the same problem with PowerDVD and VLC Lan.
Anyone had the same problem?
