I have been using FRAPS for a while now to capture images and movies of games etc.

However I tried it with a home DVD I made to get a few clips from it and the capture program slowed the machine down so much that the DVD became jerky and thus the output file was the same.

I played with the setting, reduced the size of the screen FPS and switched players, but all still pretty poor

Does anyone know of a programs that are more apt to doing this from dvd players?

    Please let me know, ta
